A native of the Pacific Northwest, Robert has a passion for both living and learning. He has undergraduate degrees in Oceanography and Zoology and a Master’s degree in business. He maintains a teaching certificate for High School math and science. He currently works as a freelance writer and owns several small businesses. He teaches several online seminars on e-commerce and is a published poet and graduate of the Long Ridge Writer's group. His last published book on Earth-Sheltering Housing is an interesting read on everything from life in a missile silo home to the Bill Gate’s 146 million dollar mansion in Seattle. Topics from his writing include everything from exploring the latest wonders of science and technology to recreation, business and do-it-yourself construction. An avid runner, bicyclist, scuba diver and book reader he shares his passion for adventure with his wife Helen and his two grown children Kendra and Andrew.
